The first thing you may ask is “What Is A Cakesmash & Bathsplash?”
Well, it’s when your child smashes up a cake. Easy!
It’s so much fun, the session can last up to 1 hour, although some cake smashes are over and done by within 20 minutes. Every child is different, and some will be straight in there with hands covered in icing within 5 minutes, while others sit back and look at the cake and don’t always believe they are allowed to touch it and get messy.
It’s brilliant to see how every little person reacts. Once they know they are allowed to get as messy as possible that’s when the real fun happens. Seeing their little faces light up when they have two hands full of cake and are not sure what to do with it, can bring laughter or tears. Though we always hope for laughter!
